Pre-Surgery

Prior to your surgery, our doctors will meet with you to provide detailed instructions for your surgery preparations. Initially, you are expected to:

Undergo medical examination or lab testing

Refrain from smoking prior to the surgery

Take a prescribed medication or make adjustments if you already have one

Avoid taking aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, and herbal supplements

The Surgery

Vaginoplasty surgery brings the separated muscles at the back of the vagina together by stitching through dissolvable sutures. For a more aesthetic visual, external and unwanted skin can be removed. The result will be an immediate decrease in the diameter of the vagina and an increase in the tightness of the muscles. The operation takes about an hour to complete and is performed either under general anesthetic or local anesthetic with sedation.

Recuperation and Recovery
